Jonathan Darby is an artist, graphic designer, photographer and workshop leader. His work focuses on humanitarian themes and has been exhibited across the world.
He is also the creative director of AptART, an arts based NGO that paints murals with marginalised communities in conflict affected areas. Some of the locations he has worked include Mozambique, Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, Kinshasa, Turkey, Vietnam, Jordan, Mathare Slums in Kenya, Zaatari and Azraq Refugee Camps. Working with some of the most established international organisations such as Save The Children, War Child, Mercy Corps, UN, UN Habitat, UNHCR, USAID.
Throughout this work, Jonathan has gained 12 years extensive knowledge in design applications. These design skills have been an integral element to his work from the very early beginnings as an artist.
